SIGH I HATE STUDYING.
actually i haven't been doing much of it, it's summer break for goodness sake!!!
how is it possible that my heart's in for studying!!! ): ): ):
i want to play after going to school and torturing myself for half a year!!!
okay lah post a's i can finally finally let loose & honestly (cross my heart) i don't want to screw up a's because i will have nowhere to go (the mere thought of this scares me to no end).
so anyway this week is pretty dull. ):
actually all the weeks from now till i-don't-know-when will be pretty dull. ): ): ):
okay i must be pretty emo today.
anyway so i went out with sarah on friday and went home with nothing!!! ): ): ):
& i spent $40 on food, donations, and stuff for other people. ): ): ): ): ):
sarah didn't get anything either, cos she spent on other people too, we are too kind, hahaha!
(i need a camera, my phone camera takes yellowish pictures, eek)
but it was nice hanging out with sarah because i love sarah (who's in m'sia now i think), teehee!
i'm looking forward to post exams shopping with her because we're both non-spendthrifts and frugal. :)
i am not getting enough love these days (generally, not in the way you think, but how will i know what you're thinking!). ):
oh yah and i'm allergic to everything i am so fed up that night i broke out in really really bad hives (like whole patches of raised red skin) because i was allergic to my shampoo (!!!) which resulted in me losing quite a lot of sleep (that made me really grouchy because i was so tired that day) and i'm always sniffling everywhere because i am so sensitive to dust and other allergens i really hate it y'know like swollen eyes and runny nose and itchiness everywhere omg. ):<
anyway, i think i must have used up 5000 ): in this paragraph alone, i must be more optimistic!
i am looking forward to tomorrow (though everyday brings me closer to the mid years!) because i'm going back to SN with sammi/jesswee/leheng to (what else) study!
& then to reward ourselves, we're going to chomp chomp yay!
i really need to get a stingray fix (i cannot type stingray properly most of the time, it comes out at stringay or something weird like that)!
& like what i told sammi (yay now i know sammi loves me especially alot!!!) about, i want to blog about carps in china, HAHAHA!
y'know there's the algae problem in wuxi (ie algae sprouting like crazy all over their rivers) and the authorities have unloaded truckloads of carps into the river to try to clean it, & the villagers went to catch the carps!!!
okay lah, maybe they're living in poverty or something, but the carps for the greater good right!
in the long term, cleaner water will matter more!
but okay if they die from hunger/poverty, then (future) cleaner water won't be of much use either, hahaha i like to contradict myself.
anyway (omg i nearly typed a z), the scientists there are damn kiang (hahaha i love speaking in dialects), they are experimenting with using the methane evolved from the algae (placed in a big capsule thing) to power households and they estimate that it can provide sufficient energy to power a regular household for two months!!!
but the scientist said now the problem is the disposal of the algae after they served their purpose, so they intend to turn it into fertiliser so the algae problem that they face almost annually can be transformed into a detriment-free biofuel!
(okay i know i am such a nerd, i get excited when i read about new sources of energy, HA HA HA, because i am so scared that one day we will run out of fossil fuel, but i know the smart people out there can be relied upon to make intelligent discoveries so i can continue to live in my happy little world of water heaters and fans)
