BACK FROM KOREA!
am very nervous about starting work tomorrow and a levels results (a little early to be fretting i know).
korea was good, would have been even better if my tour group mates were less calculating and more shopaholic-ish.
will blog more soon, with pictures (cos right now they're still sitting in the camera).
i miss all of you girls!
anyway, if anyone's interested, "how much does this cost?" is "o-mai-yo" (not sure of its spelling but it's pronounced like that) in korean!
& i did see snow!
& i went skiing which was super fun!
& the sky darkens by like 5, at 6 it's like our 9 o'clock, HA HA HA.
gosh i miss everybody.
oh & not being able to speak korean was actually quite okay because most of them understand basic english (i think), like "how much does this cost?" HAHAHA and i think like "thank you" or "merry christmas" they also understand lah.
but they're relatively mean, like they bump (by "bump", i mean squeezing through a tiny gap between you and a pillar and sort of knocking you over in the process) into you and don't apologise, laughing at you when you're climbing up the ski slope with much difficulty, laughing at you in the spa place (when i say "spa" i mean "naked bath" but of course we kept our clothes on) AND gossiping about tourists in korean (i know they're gossiping because some words they don't have variations of it in korean).
oh & there was not much shopping to do cos it's all winter wear and their shoes (identical to those in fep) costs 40 to 60 SGD, omg.
so i hope y'all will like the souvenirs i got for you!
&, for the record, korean people are seriously good-looking (i don't know if they're all surgically enhanced but hmm) and they dress really well (& they wear leggings in ice freezing temperatures, damn brave).
& they're super MCP (note to self, mention marriage to D/L/PS conditions in next entry).
& i learnt something new about myself: i can't sleep on the same bed as anyone else (ie i can't sleep together on a queen sized bed with my mom because i cannot fall asleep)
